Getting useful switch / router stats via MIB files
daxvancamp1
I've just upgraded to version 8 to take advantage of the new add-ons like the MIB database and netflow capabilities.
But..
I'm having trouble finding real useful mibs to gather information from.
Is there anyone with more experience on this topic and provide me with a list of useful CISCO mibs ( switches and routers ) to read out ?

mm thank you for the link but I don't find any useful information in it.
Currently I monitor the basics from our devices like the %utilization, CPU load, memory load, errors.
These are the standard grpahs you can make in Solarwinds.
I just want to add more useful information, like temperature, voltage, QOS, number of VOIP connections and so on.

Then you have to find the OID and add it. We can't do everything for you.

I'm currently digging into the MIBs but everyone will know that there are millions of parameters you can readout and it just taht this will take a while.
I was hoping that other users already have a useful list of parameters they readout.
