NPM can I get NPM to send a status update via a trap every 60 sec's stating the current status on a node up or down

I have a third party application (SCADA) it can query OID's and receive traps, however it does not do WMI.

The SCADA app does query the nodes directly for status info and that works fine,

NPM sends traps if the node goes down and up however SCADA managed to miss an update trap saying the Node was up.

Perhaps I could get NPM to send a trap every minute for 30 mins when it goes down or up?

Has anyone done any intergration work between SCADA inTouch and NPM status updates?

Any thoughts or pointers would be gratefully recieved.

I'm assuming you have a trigger action to send the snmp trap from npm to your application. You can edit this action and have an escalation defined to repeat every 60 seconds. I don't believe there is an escalation for the Reset action. So, the up notification will be only once. If you want a trap to be sent every 60 seconds when a node is up, you may need to have an inverse "alert" of the 'alert me when a node goes down' alert
