Upgrading NPM 10.3 to 10.3.1 on Additional Poller

My environment consists of a primary poller and one additional poller running on Windows 2008R2

Last night I was upgrading NPM from 10.3 to 10.3.1, and SAM to 5.2.

The upgrade went fine on the primary poller.

On the Additional Poller, I tried to do the same thing using SolarWinds-Orion-NPM-v10.3.1-Full.exe, however this failed because apparently the previous version was a "poller" version.  I went to add/remove programs and removed NPM 10.3 (only).  However, even after a system restart, the 10.3.1 version is telling me that it found the poller version on the server, and will not let me install. My Customer Portal doesn't seem to provide a poller version of NPM or SAM.  Now when I try to add devices to Orion, and assign them to the additional poller there are errors, because NPM is not there.

If my answer is

a) rip out this file and that file that the uninstaller didn't do I would appreciate know what could have been missed.  Then I would assume I can install the Full version.

b) if I need to install a poller version of NPM and SAM, then where am I supposed to get them?

c) any other answer suggested by this user community.

You need to download the Additional Poller package.  This contains all the modules for the additional poller in one package.  You just install the ones needed.  In your case NPM 10.3.1 first and then SAM 5.2.

You should be able to log into the Customer Portal and under License Management you should see all the Modules you have purchased from SolarWinds along with links to Download New or Pervious versions.  If this link is not there I would contact support for assistance.  This is the only way to install NPM on the additional poller since the packaging from what I know is completely different from a full instalation since there are features/files you won't need since it's only acting as a poller and not a complete front end for the Web Console as well.
