snmp v3 not working correctly

i have setup snmp v3. i can add nodes and links but some are reported as unknown and the network map is grey.

has anyone come across this problem and found a solution?

So some devices with SNMPv3 work ok and others do not, is that correct?

it seems to be mainly the links which show as unknown.

i have just installed some new networks in different sites. as an example, on one site all nodes are up and green but links are unknown which causes the map to go grey.

in another site the nodes are up and green but are in unknown state along with the links.

On the nodes that show as up and green, are you getting stats like CPU and Memory? Are you sure SNMP is not being blocked since these are new sites?

all the new sites are allowed through firewall for snmp using port 161.

i am getting stats for all nodes but not the links.
