NPM 11.52 Bug removes Edit function for name of a Multiple Object Chart in a Custom Summary view

I created a new view, added a Multiple Object Chart to a column, got the chart built the way I wanted, but I find I cannot edit out or change the section called "Multiple Object Chart" or "Custom Object Resource."

There's no "Edit" function in the window.

What is necessary to eliminate or rename these two lines? (I later learned all steps I followed were correct, and that NPM 11.5.2 has a bug that removes the Edit button once you build the resource)

Thanks, I just got the same info from SW Tech Support. The work around follows:

Reference to your concern, this is a known issue on NPM 11.5.2 at the moment and as of now, the fix for it is still on the process and be available on the next release.

The work-around for now is to delete the chart >> recreate again >> edit button will appear >> do all the settings and once submitted, it will reflect the changes but the Edit button will still not be available.

We do not have an ETA for the fix but should be available in the coming weeks and will be available on your Customer Portal.

The Edit button is missing from the top right of the resource, which tells me that your user account does not have rights to Customize Views. If you change that setting for your account, you will be able to edit the resource title.

Its not the permission issue as if you are able to Customize the view that should be enough . You might have an older version running . Try Upgrade NPM 11.5.2

Agreed, the Edit option is missing. However, the user and group permissions used to create and to view this chart have full permissions.

It IS very much like a permissions issue, I'll give you that.

Still looking at it, not finding the issue so far, but not giving up yet.

I have exactly the same issue, rschroeder and borgan are right. I can customize the page, but not the resources. I am currently on 11.5.2 HF3.

I did some experimenting - this lack of an Edit button within the resource seems to be limited to "Custom Object Resource"..... If I create a "Multiple Object Resource" it's fine, but of course there is a big limitation with that can be displayed that way......

Nope, this is a known issue (bug) on NPM 11.5.2 version. After upgrading to the said version, all Custom object resource and Multiple Object Resource - EDIT button will disappear. As I heard, this should be address on the next patch - Hotfix 5.

I'm assuming this isn't fixed yet?

I can't edit or delete it and it's throwing errors.

At this point I'd rather just get rid of it, but I can't even do that.

Can we add another user to that case?

I'm the admin, I created it under admin, and I can do everything else, I just don't have edit and I can't delete the chart.

The work around does no good if you can't delete it.

I have download the patches and it's been 6 months since this last post was created.

If they've got a patch for it, I'm not seeing it in my customer portal.

I've already installed that one and 6.

When I try to reinstall it tells me it's already installed.

Ideas?
