Cisco 3825 Fan Failure

I am writing some alerts for failures on fans and I actually have a fan that has failed but when I try to see it in orion and the alerts it reports that the fans are fine.

the oid that I'm using is: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.4.1.3
and it test fine however I'm not sure which fan it is reading the status for? maybe fan 1 because fan 2 is the one that has failed...... anyone else run into this quarkyness before?

Have you tried looking at the Fan description here - 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.4.1.2
This is what I see when testing this OID on a 3845 - Power Supply 1 Fan

I see no way of getting the status of Power Supply 2....

okay, least I know i'm not crazy now. I was monitoring the 1.2 that you were speaking of after realizing that the other always reported fine. Chalk up the fan 2 thing to another wonderful cisco product haha.
