Scheduled Discovery with automatic import?

Question

Is there a way (I love when people start a question to me that way) to not only run a scheduled discovery job but to also automatically import?  In several implementations of NPM we are primarily monitoring servers and running discovery jobs dailty targeting by subnet.  I would like a way to automatically import servers discovered by Machine Type (all "net-snmp - Linux" servers 'Found' for example) using all of the defaults present during the manual import.  Right now this is being done manually but is just a click, click, click procedure with no decision making.

Is anyone aware of either a straight forward procedure (that I've missed) or an 'unsupported' hack-around to accomplish this goal?

Me too. If there is any update on bulk importing servers, as in managed nodes, that would save lots of time on doing a fresh discovery

I am also very interrested in a automatic import. Is this already in developement or should I create a feature request for that ?

This feature does not exist today.  This is something we are considering for a future release, but to do this right we need to allow customers to define rules and criteria on which to automatically add or ignore so we don't end up blowing out folks licensing.  So as you stated above, we have scheduled discovery and we will notify you in the banner when we have found new items to monitor, but you need to manually determine which to add and which to ignore.
