Hi all,
I'm trying to customise the alerts, putting in some alerts, adding new macros to existing alerts and editing existing ones.I do everything by the book but when I then look for the new alerts, I get nothing in the actual alert message. The alert comes up but the description field is blank.Looking back through the configure alerts tab, the message is definetly in there and all relevant tabs are ticked.
What is even weirder is that when I then go to the Events tab, the new alerts dont show up and the old alerts which I have disabled, still show up.I'm using NPM 7.1.
Has anybody seen this before? When you edit or add a new event, should the change happen straight away? Do you have to restart NPM?
Thanks
Stew

huh...I've never experienced what you're describing but, when weird stuff happens, a reboot usually solves the issue. If you're positive you created the action object and put the trigger and reset messages in the approppriate fields, it sounds like reboot time!

It seems others have had this same issue.
I did a search for BAM (Beta Alert Manager) & found this solution:
