NPM Support for dekstops and Remote Management.

Hi,

Does Solarwinds ORION NPM monitor computer desktops other than the usual network devices like switches and routers? Will it be able to RDP( I mean access remotely) to those monitored desktops?

You can monitor desktops as long as its got SNMP configured you can do the same as you would with a server.

We monitor half a dozen desktops and it works really well with NPM, clicking on the RDP link on the node page runs rdp client for remote connections.
