NPM Sensor Error

I keep getting an error while trying to add a DPA Network Sensor to a windows server.

- Error in deploying Packet Analysis Sensor.
Operation system running on node 447 has unsupported OS version 0.0.0.0
Sensors can be deployed on Windows Server 2008 64 bit or later, orWindows 7 64 bit or later. 32 bit operating systems are not supported.

The sensor is running on Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard (64 Bit).

I would recommend filing this with SolarWinds Support. Looks like while the sensors are 2012 supported, they didn't do support for 2012 R2.

I did the same setup on a 2008 R2 (64 Bit) server and got the same error response.

How are you monitoring the server? What level of credentials did you provide to install?

Domain Admin credentials. No sure what you mean by how am I monitoring the server.

Supported are both Server 2012 systems, including 2012 R2.

Was this issue ever resolved? I am having the same problem with a fresh built 2012 R2 server. i have deployed the agent to other 2012 R2 servers without issue, but this new one I cannot deploy the agent. I get the same error from the website, that shows the version is 0.0.0.0. However, WMI reports the correct version. Also, I cant get the solarwinds agent to install using the MSI, that fails as well. Just wondering if anyone has some other tips or ideas to try. Thank you.
