alerting table

i was wondering which table it is that selects if an interface or node is monitored and alerted on. we have many nodes and interfaces we don't want to monitor. someone turned them all on for monitoring and it is a pain to use the gui interface to turn these off. i'd like to just hit the table if possible and do a rw query so i can change the field value to not monitor these

If I understand your question correctly, this is really going to depend on how you have your alerts configured. For example, you may alert based on a custom property or keywords in the caption. Others might alert based on the node vendor or community string.

For example, if you alert on a custom property, you should be able to use Node Management to select all nodes with that custom property & then clear that field. Likewise, you could use the Custom Property Editor to clear those fields.
