Hi all,
I'm having a few issues here. So far I've created the heat maps, set the scale, and placed the APs. this seems to give me a good look at the hot spots and dead spots within my network, however i'm now running into a lot of issue with reporting. Specifically, client locations.
I want to be able to see in as close to real time as possible where a client is located. For now, i'm only seeing a fraction of my clients on the maps (think about 60 display out of 130) which is one problem. the second issue is that there are a bunch of users that don't appear within the constraints of the map at all. This is an issue when looking at a building's 20th floor. This also leads me to my next issue. there is no designation between floor spaces.
We have 4 floors right on top of each other. For about 1 in 4 clients, I will hover over the icon and see that its connected to an AP on a whole other floor. There is seemingly no way to make it so that the clients that are connected to a certain set of APs appear on the heat maps for that floor. In addition to that, the refresh rate for the client's movements are extremely slow and unacceptable. Where in the settings can I update how frequently data is received from the cisco WLC?
