Tell us how you integrate Solarwinds and LANDesk or other products to build a relational CMDB

My organization is building a complete CMDB using LANDesk, and I see an opportunity to provide information to it from NPM and NCM and maybe even NTA.

At a minimum, the CMDB users want a solution that shows the relationships between switches and which devices that attach to them.  The CMDB needs the switches' MAC FDB and routers' ARP information.  It needs to to tie that information to specific switches AND switch ports.

Can it be done?

Does Solarwinds Orion have a way of exporting that kind of data to a third-party solution like LANDesk?  Can it be done automatically via a schedule--maybe just once a day?

What specific Orion modules would help facilitate this best?  Maybe User Device Tracker?   Is there an API for it to enhance tie-ins?

What I DON'T want is for LANDesk to be continually trying to access my switches & routers directly, running some equivalent of Switch Port Mapper against them to see what devices are using which switches and switch ports.

I have a similar request from my organization.  We are using (ADDM) - Application Dependency Mapping - BMC to handle some of the data.  I know the Solarwinds Database holds all the information I need but having the ability to manipulate -> export into ADDM is proving to be a challenge.
