When adding a banner script to the already established template I receive this error: "Start Tranfer Error. See NcmBusinessLayerPlugin log for details; Fix connection in Device Template"

The network engineers within my organization created a banner which they would like to add to the existing template for a specific vendor device. We running the remediation script to test the banner against the existing template we get an error to fix the connection in the device template. I tested the device connection and there does not seem to be an issue with the connection. The template does not affect other nodes using the same template. Any suggestions?

I would think a ticket to solarwinds might be needed on this one. Unless you feel comfortable going through the solarwinds NCM logs to find more information. The information provided in your title is not specific enough and could be several things associated with it. SolarWinds can dig in the NCM logs and help you find the cause.

Where would I find the NCM logs on the server? Do you know the exact location? What happen is that my engineers created a rule so this rule can be applied to a template specifically the banner on the network appliances template which is used on several switches. Anyhow, I am not sure if it is delimiting character so I plan to compare the banner script that is displayed on multiple devices against the script that is not currently working. When I go through the remediation script, it shows that it had failed and proves me the error I specified.
