Buffer Misses not reported
MRoberts
Why wont SW pick up and report buffer misses in My Foundry Devices. A problem existed when a core node hosed up rebooted. Foundry networks techs found that the buffers were filling up and releasing.
A closer look at my reports shows no buffer stats at all. ¢¯any work around, patch, fix available??
Thanks

Hello Marlon,
I may be wrong (and often am) but I think that Orion only provides buffer info for Cisco devices (after all Cisco controls the world).
This, once again, points us to the need for custom MIBs in Orion. This would allow you to view the buffer misses for your happy little Foundry switches/routers.
BTW: How do you guys like the Foundry boxes? What are the plus/minus vs. Cisco?
