Monitoring Ubuntu: net-snmp v. 5.4.1

I have some Ubuntu servers that I am having some difficulty monitoring in NPM

 

The servers respond to the snmp verify and I can see all of the volumes and interfaces, but I do not get any data.

When I try do kick off a Poll Now from the Manage Nodes screen, I get the following errors:

On the first server I get-

Last error: Poll now failed for netobject N:131.

On the other server I get-

Last error: Poll now failed for netobject N:136.

Where should I be looking for problems?

On further looking, I realized that the posted errors have nothing to do with it, the N:131 refering to the node id number.

In addition, I discovered that the issue is different from, but not limited to the Ubuntu servers.  Our RHEL servers also appear to be missing some data.  For example, the speed dials for CPU and memory utilization show a value, but the corresponding graph for that same data over time shows no data.  Same goes for the network interface and volume statistics.

Any ideas?
