Newbie solarwinds question on configs tab

I see in some of the videos there is a configs tab which is how you access the backed up configs of the various network devices (cisco equipment). I do not have this tab, is this tab outside the NPM product, or is there a place to turn it on?

The config tab is the Network Configuration Manager (NCM) module so if you don't have it already you will have to purchase it.

jkrenzien is correct. Basically any tab you have up there is a separately purchased module with separate license requirements.

Add nodes to NCM

Click Settings > Manage Nodes. The Manage Nodes view lists all of the nodes that have been added to the Orion Platform. ...
Locate the nodes you want to add to NCM. For example: ...
Select the nodes you want to add to NCM.
Click More Actions > Add Nodes to NCM, and then click OK at the confirmation message.
