Popover Commands menu - customization possible?

Hi, all.  I found Orion Platform 2018.2 Improvements - Chapter Three  already, but there's not been much about this that I've been able to find since then.

Is there any way to customize the Commands list that's now available in the popovers, or if not, any plans to add this functionality?

There is no way to change this within the system settings, it would need to be developed as a function, but sounds like an interesting feature request
