Problem use solarwinds agent in linux server.

After execute the configurations wizard in Orion server, we see the node linux with polling methor agent show in web console used a memory until 20% of the all memory server. But in configurations of the linux server show use close 80 % or 90 %, in some situations the server stop for this.

Following recomendations of the solarwinds support removed the agent but no solution the problem.

My question:

In node view show only 20% memory used, for what in server show values close 100%????

The linux version is Red Hat.

Its necessary to do any configuration in linux server ????

The Linux Agent itself is exceptionally lightweight. Unless the server had only 100MB of memory, I can't imagine a scenario where the memory consumed by the agent would come anywhere close to what you're seeing. I suspect that there may be something environmental occurring, but I'd like to find out what it may be. Can you please open another case with support and post your case number here? I will ensure your case is escalated to the appropriate team.

I will open a ticket, but the staff has already talked to the supporte and what they say is that they need to remove the agent, and it does not solve.

Solarwinds shows very low consumption, but the server itself shows that it is too high. I think it's something on the server itself.

The screenshot you provided above from Orion shows the total amount of ram installed in the machine, which aligns with your screenshot from top. If the issue is with memory in-use you'll need to provide a screenshot of Orion reflecting the amount of memory in-use to compare to the screenshot you posted showing TOP.
