Gee thanks guys. I tried to apply sp4 to a perfectly running system, and it croaks! Now any device detail I look at has red text saying;

During the 9.5 sp4 "upgrade" it displayed the following text when it croaked;

And so I search for that article, I find the link to it, but the link doesn't work! Instead of a web page, I get;

NOW WHAT DO I DO?????????? My Bad, of course, for not making a full system backup beforehand, but in the past every patch/upgrade had installed smoothly for me, so I just went for it without a safety net. Lesson learned. I'll figure this out the hard way, I guess...
