Interface load on FW IF´s is flying high...

Hi!

We´ve got a Clavister Firewall and are running MRTG so take readings of it - works fine. But when I use SW to monitor interfaces, traffic utilization goes sky high, whatever I do. I´ve tried changing counter rollover, modifying interface speed in the DB but nothing seems to work.

I´m trying to monitor both VLAN and physical interfaces, but I get the same problem on both.

I´m running 7.3 now.

Has anyone got some good idea?

What speeds to MRTG/SW think the interface is running at? Also, are you looking at % utilization or speed. "sky high" is qualitative, and not really useful in helping you out.

Orion thinks that its 0 initially - but I´ve changed it.
I´ve tried to set the bandwidth manually in Orion´s database but I still get that its using 208Gbit/s and other extreme values when it´s actually current throughput were 10Mbit/s.
