Getting the following error when upgrading 8.5 sp1+2 to 8.51
"The wizard was unable to register the SolarWinds COM+ Application"
I will put in a ticket as well.
Just FYI I was installing from terminal services, once I installed from console upgrade went fine.
Just curious... Were you using the same credentials to login to the server via TS as opposed to locally?
Just an FYI ... I received a similar error (failed to register COM+ application) but the issue was not resolved when I logged into the server locally. In my case, I had to start the COM+ system application service. I'm not a server guy, so I don't know if having this disabled is standard or not, just wanted to share a little bit of info. Thanks,
