Placing large groups in Maintenance (UnManaged) Mode

We are performing upgrades in our data center and it is causing us to have to take down large numbers of hosts grouped by customer name in Orion. Is there a way to put a group of hosts in UnManaged mode other than having to right-click on each host one at a time and select Node Details then clicking on the UnManaged button?

It would be nice if I could do it by Custom Properties. For example, we have Custom Property called 'Deployment' and it would be nice if I could place an entire deployment in UnManaged (Maintenance) mode.

I'd be interested in learning how to do this as well, however from everything I've read so far, there is no way to do this yet. You do bring up a good idea though...create a custom field called "Maintenance" and then in your alerts create an exception if the "Maintenance" field is set to "Yes" or something like that.

The only way to do this now would require that you stop the poller, update the database, and then restart the poller. It's not possible otherwise, but it's something we're planning to add.
