I have a ticket open with support but wondered if anyone else had this issue. I have 2 new Orion servers connecting to a single SQL 2008 server. The one server had no issues and came right up. The second server fails during the configurating wizard. It says :
Website configuration failed:
• Failure updating Websites table - A transport-level error has occurred when sending the request to the server. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.)
I see all kinds of these transport errors in the solarwinds.net log. Ping times to the SQL server are < 1 ms. We have deleted the db, rebuilt Orion twice now and still no luck.
Very frustrated...
