Problem with node Hp-Ux

Question

Hi, i have a problem with the configuration of Hp-ux nodes on Orion System Manager. When i add the new node the system don't show the Volumes of the host. I have shaped  correctly the file snmpdm on the host!

The Orion System Manager shows me only the ownerships of the interfaces ethernet of the HP-UX host.

The problem is not presented for AIX nodes. In this case the Orion System Manager shows me also the Volumes of the host.

Which could the causes of this anomaly be?

Andrea,

Are you using the original SNMPd that comes with the OS or have you installed NetSNMP?

I would suggest using NetSNMP from http://net-snmp.sourceforge.net/. Version 5.3.1 should give you better results than what you are currently seeing. If you continue to have trouble with this I would suggest getting in contact with Solarwins support desk.
