Help needed licensing an Eval version ASAP

I currently only hav 4 days left on my Eval, and have received no response at all from my support ticket. When trying to generate a license key, I get an error stating that my serial number is invalid for the product I selected (although I am copying and pasting it to avoid error). Even if/when I do get a license key generated, I cannot see how to add it onto my Orion NPM. Maybe when the Eval expires it will aloow me to add it?

If anyone can offer any assistance (as obviosly SolarWinds Support is unable to) it would be appreciated. I am starting to think I have just spent $20,000+ ona product I will very shortly be unable to use!

Support can't extend a license, but Sales can. Please contact sales@solarwinds.com, and I assure you that someone will get back to you.

It wasn't for an extension, I am a NEW user and have never installed a license before.

I have now resolved my own issue at any rate, as well as another issue that occured when it tried updating the database.

Some simple FAQs would have saved a lot of time and hassle.

But, the fun continues. I am now getting a runtime error when loading the website. I must say that the 'upgrade' from the unlimited Eval to the SL2000 version is anything but straight forward!

Again - I guess I'll have to research and resolve my own issue.

Right. Sales can extend the evaluation license. Sorry I wasn't more clear.

We do have some FAQs (www.solarwinds.com/.../faq.aspx), but if they don't answer the question you were looking for, I understand that it's not much help.

I'm sorry you're experience is not going more smoothly. I would suggest a couple of things here. First, post all the details about the error message. You probably won't get an answer from the Thwack community on a Sunday night, but you'll probably have more success when folks log in on Monday morning.
