Is there a option to trigger a linux script in alert action when a condition matches. For example we need to kill one process in a linux server if it gets triggered at some situations.

You can execute perl on the Orion server itself and utilize the perl SSH module to connect to a remote host and execute an action. Baring that, you would need NCM (Network Configuration Manager) to have this functionality native to the Advanced Alert Manager in Orion. NCM extends Orion's Advanced Alert Manager with the ability to SSH to a remote device, such as a switch, router, or Linux/Unix host and execute commands.
