SQL 2005 Migration

Question

Hi Guys,

We have migrated from SQL2000 to SQL2005. Our database is about 800 MB big.

We make database backups periodically. It is interesting that the backup file size is only 3 MB.

Can anyone explain why our database is 3 MB instaed of 800 MB ?

We tried to SQL Manager backup and restore the database.

Unfortunately, 800 MB size is still 3 MB. It looks it doesn't make backup and restore.

Attached is the screen shot of SQL Manager.   We are still looking for a solution to this problem.Thank you.

Try using the SQL Mgr. backup and restore and then compare the file sizes.
