There are some things that I'd love to see in the NPM interface:
1. Utilizing the information from the NCM db - Catalyst Card/Cisco Card tables put that information into the node details page of a device or offer that to be there.
2. Utilizing the information in NCM db from the arptable, cdptable, node and interfaces tables create a network map that displays images based on visio stencils based on lookups from the chassis table. The mapping function should be fairly easy, there's an open source utility called Netdisco that can do this already.
3. In NPM or IPAM create a node lookup that will allow me to look for a device by IP, mac or host name that queries the NCM arp table to come up with the name. This is another netdisco feature that I miss greatly.
