Update Vendor Icons - Is there a way to do this?

Hello Community,

I have noticed that even with all the vendor OIDs defined in solarwinds not everyone of them has a Vendor Icon (12345.gif) assigned to them.

I have Created 16x16 8 bit depth gif files and added them to the directory

C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\Graphics\Vendors

I have update the VendorIcon Column in Nodes table and Vendor Table, Yet still the Web portal Shows the Unknown.gif icon.

Is there a Column or Permission I am missing?

HAHA, It helps when you copy the file to the inetpub directory vs the application installation directory

C:\inetpub\SolarWinds\NetPerfMon\images\Vendors

Also Does Polling Method Affect the Vendor ICON shown on the Web Portal?

ICMP or External will also be Unknown.gif?
