Using NPM to monitor across large geographical distances

Question

Hi there,

I currenty use NPM to monitor three sites-- two on the east coast and one on the west coast.  I have my NPM server located in one of the east coast sites.   I'm about to add a site in Europe and I'm wondering if there are any special considerations for NPM in a situation like this.  Do you have to change any polling timers, or timeouts?

Hello,

We monitor our European offices from the mid west and we don't have any problems.  The latencies are a little higher because of the WAN link but you can adjust for that pretty easily.   We left everything at the defaults when we monitor over there.
