Engineering toolset & Telnet SSH from NPM

Hi All

I had 2 questions.

1) In order to integrate the engineers toolset from NPM GUI, do I need to install engineers toolset in my desktop locally? If there are 10 engineers who need this feature, should each personnel have a copy of the engineer toolset software ?

2) telnet/ssh from NPM.. there are many posts regarding this, but none definitively giving any answer. Can someone help me setup telnet/ssh from my NPM server? Do we need a version of putty and registry changes on every PC where we use solarwinds GUI from?

Raj,

I don't know the answer to your second question, but in order for the toolset integration to work you will need to install a copy of the Engineer's toolset on your local computer. Each engineer needing the integration will need their own copy of the toolset.

With the 2nd, yes, each PC has to have something setup on it to know what a URL telnet://x.x.x.x means and what to do with that url.
