Here is the scenario:
The server team is preparing to enable SAN-based mirroring for a collection of volumes. The mirrors are only configured for a select number of volumes. I need a way to create an aggregated view of the disk space usage of these volumes (~10 volumes). This is important because it is an indicator of how much extra storage we need to purchase for the remote (DR) location. I want to track the growth over time so a chart is necessary.
I was about to use a Multiple Object Chart until I found that the only chart options are Percent Disk Usage, Allocation Failures, and Disk Size. GRR .. why isn't plain ole "Disk Usage" an option?! I need an actual number so Percent Disk Usage won't work. Does anyone know if there is a way around this?
