URL in custom report in a custom view

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how the "Web URL Field" under "Field formatting" in "Orion Report Writer" works.

The normal string for NodeName field is: /NetPerfMon/View.asp?View=NodeDetails&NetObject=N:${NodeID}, but when i view the custom report there aint any link posiblities.

Can anyone assist?

I believe you need to add NodeID as a field. You can hide it under "Field Formatting" if you don't want to see it in the results. The URL is looking for the "NodeID", but it can't find it if it's not passed as a field in the report.

I have a report that looks like (see below/attached)...for the interfaces, in the report, I have::
orion.ndchealth.int/.../View.asp

Set for the URL under field format.
I did this for the emailed reports....but what is being published is::
netperfmon/View.asp

Which is obviously not working.
I do have the NodeID and InterfaceID as hidden fields
Also, the "printable Version" button has the same type of issue where it assumes you are on the local box (or on the web page)...

Any thoughts on this behavior?
