Suspended Disk

Hi,

I have a doubt for suspended data collection. In my monitoring infra, we're monitoring number of nodes. In that one particular node disk has been suspended , while checking with the logs and the respected team. The respected team informed that they have installed the new OS up gradation in the node and synchronized with existing one. Now, the resources has showing one disk for same drive with 2 different label (the disk which is suspended is existing one ,after up gradation the disk which is added with same drive name with a different label). suspended one is still polling the utilization. kindly help on this to get a clarification.

SolarWinds doesn't dynamically maintain or manage volumes when labels change or when volumes are added/removed. Most people learn this the hard way when an outage occurs due to an unchecked new volume. Many threads on this topic.

Updating volumes that change or added has to be done manually.

If you go to the Manage Nodes page, you can update and remove volumes there, also check the List Resources screen to confirm all is correct in there.

the list resources shows the new volume not the exist one, i have already checked with manage option. How to remove the exist disk which is suspended

Expand the node in Manage Nodes and delete the volume. List resources shows active resources only.
