Protect the report files

Hi all,

In order to protect the report files, I have changed the permissions on \SolarWinds\Orion\Reports to read-only. It seems to be working fine. When I change the report and try to save it, it tell me that the report is read-only and to use a different name.

My only question is that will this have any known adverse affects on the Solarwinds system?

Orion doesn't need to write to these canned reports so what you have done shouldn't pose an issue.

The only issue that might occur would be during an upgrade/ re-install where there (might) be updated version of the reports.
