poll for vmware fails?

I have one esx host added in solarwinds. When I select the poll for vmware option it fails even though I know the username and password is correct. I have many other hosts I've added this way and polled for vmware. this is the only one giving me issues. Why would it not be able to poll for vmware?

'Apologies if this sounds overly simplistic of an answer, but if other ESX hosts are polling properly using the vSphere API feature from the same NPM server, then the issue would seem to reside with the one host, rather than NPM. I'm sure you've done this already, but have you verified that the credentials you provided in NPM work using vSphere Client and have the same rights on that host as the other ESX hosts?
