HI,
I was getting random disconnects between the GEM and Engine G software about every 4 to 6 weeks. Was able to re-establish communication again each time by power cycling the GEM.
Until yesterday, lost connection, cycled the GEM power and nothing. Tried to connect to the Brultech internal Wiznet adapter with the network utility and the Wiznet did not show up.
I had a spare Wiznet board WIZ110SR with a DB9 connector, so I wired that into the GEM on Comm 1. Had to de-select the internal module and select no module in the GEM Network utility under the firmware tab. (Having the internal module selected was somehow locking up the Engine G software on the second data package)So, GEM is back up again. I do notice a huge different in access to the GEM's internal webpage. The webpage is rock solid, previously the access was very spotty.
Please help.
I did not find the right solution from the internet.
