Forgive me if this has been asked before. I seem to remember a posting about this a while back but it didn't turn up when I searched. I cut over about 100 Cisco devices today from SNMPv2 to SNMPv3. Things went well, though I think I found a bug where if you change from SNMPv2 to SNMPv3, set the credentials and hit "Apply Changes" and close the window the device stays at SNMPv2 unless you hit the "Validate SNMP" button. I'd have to say this is confirmed since it happened very consistently.
Anyway, that's not my question. The trouble I'm seeing is that all the custom pollers I setup for these devices that I moved from SNMPv2 to SNMPv3 stopped collecting data at exactly the same time I changed them to SNMPv3. I verified that these custom MIB OIDs are accessible via SNMPv3 using NETSNMP, and even the Orion Custom MIB Poller Wizard seems to work, but none of my custom MIBs on the web interface have updated since moving these nodes to SNMPv3. Does anyone have any idea why?
