Filtering interfaces for devices with hundreds of interfaces

Hello Everyone,

I apologize if this has been answered somewhere before, but I was not able to find anything myself.

I am having issues with certain devices that have hundreds of LAN interfaces, but am only interested in monitoring the ones which show an explicit layer 2 connection in the description. Is there a way to filter this or will I have to go through all interfaces and filter manually? Any advice on how to deal with this issue would be greatly appreciated since I have several hundred devices like this...

     TenGigabitEthernet1/2/4 · To XXXXXX-Ten2/4 (Yes im interested in)

     TenGigabitEthernet1/2/5 - Te1/2/5 (Not interested)

You can filter that by doing a discovery against those nodes and on the section where you pick the interfaces to monitor just come up with an advanced filter.  You can use string matches or come up with a regex.  Might be as simple as just doing interface alias contains "To"
