Custom SQL Alert example?

Can some please post a basic custom SQL alert example? I believe I know how to identify the nodes and transactions (from the nodes and SEUM_transactions tables); but I'm not quite sure where to look for alert condition parameters; is there a table that stores the active alert conditions; or do I need to evaluate the last value with my defined threshold?

If you pick an existing alert that you are comfortable with, you can change the type to Custom SQL and view the alert make up as an example. Be aware not to save the alert as a custom sql by clicking CANCEL to close

Thanks for the tip. It appears much of the information is kept in SQL views. I had been looking strictly at tables for all the information.

No problem. It does depend on which alerts you look at, but you are correct, some data is stored in "alert data" views...
