How can you remove the poller engine so that it does not show up with you start the Orion Network Manager?

The Network Manager application talks to the poller for all its statistics / status / changes / adds / deletes. So, you can't run the manager without running the poller to go with it.

I realize that, but I have removed the application from that system so it is no longer polling, but it still shows in the list. How do i remove that system from the list?

Download and install the Poller Load Balancing application.
It detects the unused poller and will ask you if you want to delete it.
