Invalid Username / Password in Network Atlas

Two days ago I was able to use Network Atlas fine. Yesterday I came into work and was not able to log in. I kept getting a Username / Password invalid error. I remoted into the Orion server and from there I am able to log in. Has anyone else experienced this or have an idea how to resolve it?

Please check the machine you are trying to connect to shows the same system time as the machine you are connecting from. If this does not help, please contact our support.

Are you trying to connect to a remote machine? Does the login work for Orion website?

I had that issue. found out it was user error. Network Atlas uses the same login as your orion website. I was able to login after i had that first cup of coffee.

Yes, the Orion machine is remote in the instance that I cannot log in. It is the same username password combination that I am using to log into the browser. When I remote desktop to the orion server I can use network atlas and I am able to log in fine, of course at that point its set to local host..

I have logged a ticket as well and they had me uninstall Network Atlas and reinstall but it did not change anything.

Hashim: I dont think its the same issue.. I have had about a gallon of coffee now and the problem still exists.

Turns out I got your message and one regarding my open ticket about the same time, with this answer. The server and my desktop had become about 7 mins apart and apparently they can be no more than 5 mins apart. I adjusted my time on the desktop and it works terrificly.

I had the same issue of not being able to login. We are using NT domain logins for NPM. When you add NT domain users in NPM you have to include a fake password so NPM will accept the domain/user id.

You use your domain id and password for NPM logins, but we found you must use the fake password when logging into Orion Network Atlas.
