cannot edit Node details in System manager

Hi,

Recently I upgraded from NPM v9 to v9.5 . since then I am not able to

edit the node details in system manager.although its collecting the statistics and web is also working.

do i have to run network discovery again or i have to reinstall NPM ..?

any guess..?

Param, in 9.5 we moved editing of a lot of properties for elements from System Manager to the website. There isn't anything wrong with your install.

If you haven't tried out web node management before, it has quite a few features that make it easier to use than System Manager(the ability to edit properties for multiple nodes at a time is one of the biggest).

If things are missing, or the flow doesn't work as smoothly as you'd like, let us know. We're actively working to make improvements to it based on user feedback.

Are all the fields greyed out, or can you input details but not save?

Have you tried adding one new node & seeing of you can edit that?
Also, have you tried editing the nodes in the web interface?
Were any SQL changes made at the same time, particularly ITO permissions?

Yes I can edit through web interface!.

I cannot edit only through system manager.

casey, thanks for that info. but it would be still better if you can provide editing in system manager also, as an alternate way.

web editing is cool... really
