I am trying to do an inventory of our 3Com devices 4400's, 3870's and I would like to include the current software level. I cannot find this in the node details. Do i need a custom MIB to be able to gather this information? IT works fine on the 3Com OS built into the 5500, 7700 and 8800's
any help would be appreciated
Regards
James

This question needs to go into the Cirrus forum.
But to try and help you out we are running a mixed infrastructure here between 3COM and Cisco, predomently 4400 and 40x0 on the 3COM side and because these devices have a menu based command line they are very limited to what can be achieved through Cirrus. The 55, 77 and 8800's because they are the first devices that were brought out with the Huwari partnership have a full almost Cisco CLI so can be fully queried.
