Orion Integration with syslog server

i would like to integrate the Orion NMP to a syslog server (Envision).however i should specify the device type, i tried NIC system , Windows NIC yet the syslog server didnt verify the Orion NMP as per my specification.

Please help on what should i add the the NMP device type as.

Can you provide a little more detail as to what you are attempting to do and the behavior you are seeing

Orion NPM has a syslog server, you can just point other devices to it.

i am trying to integrate the Orion server with a Syslog server that captures the logs from the Orion.

To configure the Orion at the syslog server, i need to provide info about the type of server being attached ( ex windows server, oracle database..etc)

so i would like help in how to define the type of the Orion
