Visual Alert when on ISDN

Hi, This is my first post so I hope I put all the needed information.

I'm running NPM 10.0.0 SP1. I have an alert configured to email me when our external WAN router goes down and our network goes on to ISDN. That is working fine. I would like to have a visual alert as well. Currently, when we are on ISDN, our map and all our nodes show green and give no indication they are in a degraded state (i.e. operating on the backup ISDN network). I would like to have the node turn yellow or red when it is running on ISDN.

Any ideas on how I can configure this?

I would like to know the same. Also, has it been this way from the beginning ? There is some debate among a co-worker and myself how long it has been this way.

Add a resource to your main page, it's called "Down Interfaces". Once it is added you edit it and filter for the ones you want to monitor. As an example I have a custom property called "CoreInterface" so the filter line says "CoreInterface=1" (it is a yes/no field). Now on my main page I can see just the information I want.

The interface will show red and it will be on a list on your main page, hope that helps.

Adding the down interface resource does not enable the node in an embedded map to alert to the top tier map if an interface is down.
