I tried adding extra tabs to NPM for one Node and ended up getting extra tabs for all of the others for which I didn't even required. How can I add several tabs for just one node without impacting the others?
I don't think you can create extra tabs on just one node. The nodes are associated with views and if you change your node view, it updates for them all, which I guess you are experiencing.
You can create a new view and apply that to a certain device type. You can then change things on that one type and the changes will not affect the other devices. From what I've seen, you can't change your view on a per node basis. You can change them for all of your nodes if you have one device view; or if you have extra views made up, a per device basis. You will have to create a new view in Manage Views in the settings. Then you'll have to apply that view to the device type you want it on in Settings Views by Device Type.
