As some of you know, we have long offered a connector for Microsoft's MOM 2005. In the latest release, Microsoft renamed that product to System Center Operations Manager 2007, and they also changed the connector software so that our old connector will not work with the new version.In response, we have built a new and much more full-featured management pack for OpsMgr 2007. Whereas the old version simply forwarded alerts, this new version transfers raw data from Orion NPM into the OpsMgr database. It also allows users to host Orion maps and NetFlow Traffic Analysis data within the OpsMgr console. Of course, it also creates OpsMgr alerts based on NPM data.
In other words, it's a really powerful management pack data that allows dedicated users of Microsoft OpsMgr 2007 to get all the network monitoring power of Orion NPM and NTA into their preferred console.

Note: You must have OpsMgr 2007 in order to trial the beta. MOM 2005 won't work. If you're thinking, "What's this OpsMgr thing he's talking about?", then this beta is not for you.
