Does changing alert conditions cause all alerts to re-arm still?

I know with the old alerting engine if you changed the conditions on an alert all alerts currently tripped for that alert definition would re-arm, does this behavior still exist for the new alerting engine?

I have not seen it trigger while changing alerts for some time, and I have made changes. One new alert I was working on I changed yesterday and found I needed to disable/enable to trigger it again to see if it was working as expected.
